Tridant 4.2mtr

The 4.2mtr Tridant was designed by Steve Peake (Clayton's Father) for Clayton Marine back in 1993.  As a retiree (and a large man) Steve Peake designed the Tridant with stability and performance in mind.  The Tridant was to be a boat that people could handle by themselves and feel confident in its sea handling ability.  Most importantly, Steve Peake added a small fuel effective motor that kept the boating costs down. 

Clayton Marine built over 100 Tridant 4.2mtr boats within its first few years of production.  The Tridant boat proved popular not only for the retirees, but for the family man wanting to get into his first boat and gain confidence in sea and boat handling.

Tridant 5.1mtr

The Tridant 5.1

The Tridant 5.1 features the same stability & handling performance as the 4.2 but size allows the user to venture further out to sea.  This Tridant is for the serious fisherman.

  • Single tone hull & deck.with 3 separately sealed hull buoyancy chambers
  • 2 piece moulded cabin & deck with moulding for rod holders
  • Full-length helm and passenger bulkhead
  • Recessed transom and motor well
  • Port/starboard moulded pedestal seat bases
  • Moulded anchor well and hatch, self-draining
  • Passenger glove box + tinted perspex lid
  • Port/starboard side pocket storage shelves, aft. end
  • Rear bait well with nylon cutting board lid
  • Live bait well with nylon cutting board lid
  • Port/starboard large diameter hull drain plugs
  • Recessed stainless steel stern cleats
  • Stainless steel bow roller for fixed anchor system
  • Stainless steel split bollard with safety pin + stainless steel "U" bolt for stem.
